Whether you are hiring me to shoot your love story or paint it, my travel rates are the same. I LOVE to travel so I am going to do whatever I can to make getting me to where you need as affordable as possible!
One of my favorite things about being a photographer/artist is surprising myself, and one of the best ways to do that is photographing/painting in new locations! I love finding a new favorite spot to capture love so if you want to go somewhere amazing then take me with you!
I include 30 miles(round trip) for regular photography sessions and 50-100 miles(round trip) for weddings from my home address with my packages and after that I charge .57 cents per mile. The Standard & Deluxe wedding packages include 50 miles, and the Ultimate wedding package includes 100 miles. (Engagement and Bridal sessions under the Ultimate wedding package includes 60 miles of travel for each.) For weddings, anything over a 2 hour drive from home address(one way) will require a 1 night stay in a hotel or Airbnb, plus mileage fees after the 50-100 miles that are included with your package. Anything over a 4 hour drive will require a 2 night stay, plus mileage fees. Anything over a 5 hour drive will require airfares, car rental/Uber fees, a 2 night stay in a hotel or Airbnb. Sometimes airfare can be cheaper than mileage so we will discuss the most affordable and convenient option for us both.
If your wedding or session is in New Orleans or North Louisiana, rates can possibly be at a lower cost since I personally travel between the two very often. This all depends on when your wedding or session is, and if I’ll already be in your town or passing through it. If this is you, I will work with you the best I can to help with your travel fees.
***For booking flights and hotels, I am always open to recommendations, but I prefer to book this on my own. Finding a flight at the right time of day and with enough time in advance is super important so that you have me at my best for your wedding. I don’t think either of us want your Photographer/Artist showing up tired and not in the best mood to work hard. It’s also important for me to find my own hotels for the sake of privacy and safety. If you feel pretty sure about booking, I will get a rough estimate or price range for what you can expect to pay for travel on top of your package. When you know you want to book, and I receive your deposit and contract signed, I will then begin to plan the trip and provide you with a specific quote.
